BASE 3D: P1-LIGHT3D

Laser and other light technologies for 3D printing

The aims of the project P1-LIGHT3D is the research of new light sources and materials for 3D-printing technologies, like Selective Laser Melting (SLM), Stereolithography (SLA) and Digital Light Processing (DLP). In this consorptium, IMEM’s Group has been working in strong collaboration with the Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ-Tarragona) with the preparation of new biocompatible and biodegradable raw materials for being used in those printing machines.
