Guillem Ruano presents his PhD Thesis

Our PhD student defended on November 12 his thesis on Conducting Polymers and Hybrid Materials for Technological Applications, directed by Prof. Carlos Alemán and Prof. Joan Torra

Guillem's PhD Thesis was mainly focused on development and study of materials for their use in supercapacitors. His worked can be classified in three blocks:

1) Development and characterization of a solid-electrolyte hydrogel for an electrochemical supercapacitor.

2) Fabrication of a multilayer system as a supercapacitor electrode for biomedical applications.

3) Design of a multifunctional conducting polymer hydrogel.
