Short biography
David Zanuy Gómara has been an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) since 2010 and has been a member of the Innovation in Materials and Molecular Engineering (IMEM) group since 2004.
His research focuses on understanding the advanced properties of materials through atomistic-level computational simulations, establishing physicochemical relationships between their structural components as a basis for the development of nanodevices for technological applications.
Throughout his academic career, he has published more than 125 scientific articles in international journals, with an h-index of 30 (Google Scholar). He has supervised four doctoral theses and participated in more than 12 competitive research projects.
