My research focuses on the development of advanced drug delivery systems and polymeric biomaterials for biomedical applications. My expertise includes 3D-printed drug delivery systems, molecularly imprinted polymers, hydrogels, and polymeric and hybrid nanocarriers for controlled and targeted drug delivery.
Currently, I am working on electroactive hydrogel-based platforms for controlled drug delivery and tissue regeneration. In particular, my research focuses on electrically responsive biomaterials for controlled insulin delivery and their application in diabetic wound healing.

I am a member of the Innovation in Materials and Molecular Engineering (IMEM) group. Within the group, I am involved in the SCLoW project, focusing on the development of multifunctional biomaterials for regenerative medicine and therapeutic delivery.
