Sonia Lanzalaco

Carlos Alemán Llansó is Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) since 2009. He has led the Innovation in Materials and Molecular Engineering (IMEM) group since its formation, in 2003. Currently, his research focuses mainly on four lines: 1) Electrochemical sensors and devices for regenerative medicine through controlled release of drugs; 2) Flexible bio-organic supercapacitors; 3) Catalysts based on polarized hydroxyapatite for the fixation of N₂ and CO₂; and 4) Polymers applied to nanotechnology.
