Research Line
Research focused on the development of multifunctional, biodegradable, and biocompatible hydrogels for biomedical applications. Current work investigates the relationship between different electrical stimuli and drug release from conductive hydrogels, with the aim of optimizing controlled drug delivery. Additionally, research is being conducted on the functionalization and optimization of laminarin-based hydrogels to develop multifunctional materials.
Group, Project, and Research Lines within IMEM
Member of the Innovation in Materials and Molecular Engineering (IMEM) group, currently working on the COSTA project. Research activities focus on conductive hydrogels, electrically controlled drug delivery, and the development of multifunctional laminarin-based hydrogels for biomedical applications.
